Eligibility

Thrive is open to students who meet one or more of the following criteria. Tick all that apply to you.
You must select at least one characteristic.

Students who are a care leaver, care experienced or estranged

Students who were eligible for free school meals

Students entering university from a neighbourhood with low participation in higher education, and students from low-income households

Students with caring responsibilities

Students who identify as Black, Asian or from other minority ethnic groups

Students who did not study A Level qualifications, e.g. BTEC

Students with refugee status

Coaching Conversations

All Thrive participants are offered the opportunity to secure one of 75 places to be matched with a dedicated Student Success Champion who you’ll meet for regular 1:1 transitional support as part of our exclusive Coaching Conversations offer. throughout your first year. These sessions are a chance to set goals, reflect, and get tailored support to help you to get the most out of your university experience.
